The lesson here is in utilizing inside work to gain range and definition, You’ll notice that
the song begins with a concert C note in the key of F. Thereupon it moves to an Eb note with an Eb minor chord. If you start the song
with an inside Junior form of F major which has as it’s top note a C natural. The next
logical choice of chord is a Junior form of the Eb minor which has as it’s top note the Eb
melody note on the second string. After that it’s pretty straight forward except when you
get to the F mode 7 near the end. You will once again want to traverse to the inside.
On the second chorus, the melody is available on the C string. The arrangement uses a
strong tremolo with a chord on the outside played duo style.
Generally speaking, if there is no chord over the note, play it singly.
